I wonder if you can't composite a simple motion comic with all of your character designs, you know, all on that white simple background and make it an obvious motion comic dealing with the fact that everyone is in a portfolio trying to get a job or impress. You can keep it really simple, just camera movement and a dialogue script. Imagine it, you'd be able to accomplish what every film reel is supposed to do, every character will get noticed and have their 5 seconds of fame! you have a tone of funny friends to read off dialogue for you and you could keep the recording Low tech. It's just a thought, but how often do these studios get a self aware film reel with a sense of humor?! Yours has such potential.
